Workomap
The global map of SAP professionals — see where the SAP world lives and works, and put yourself on it.
A map-first community for SAP professionals. Every member is a structured profile — canonical role, primary SAP areas, SAP start year, city — placed on a live world map. Browsing is open and anonymous; joining is free.
The problem
SAP talent is invisible as a community and unreadable as data. 'SAP FI Consultant — 12 years' says nothing about which part of FI, S/4HANA or ECC, greenfield or support — and nobody can see where the SAP world actually is, city by city. Workomap starts by making the community visible, on a map, in structured form.
Who it's for
People who work professionally with SAP — consultants, developers, architects, project managers, in-house experts — who want to be visible as part of their city's SAP community with a structured profile instead of a free-text headline.
How it works
Join free, pick your city, choose a canonical role and one to three primary SAP areas, and set your SAP start year. You appear as part of your city's cohort on the world map, in the people directory, and on a stable public profile URL. Location is city-level only — a pin is a city community, never a person's address.
What it does
A live map of the SAP world
SAP professionals clustered by country and city on an interactive world map — the answer to 'where is the SAP world?' that no directory or job board shows.
Structured profiles, not free text
Canonical role, one to three primary SAP areas and an SAP start year — facts a map and a search can actually use, instead of a self-written headline that means something different on every profile.
City-level privacy by design
No addresses, no GPS, no personal coordinates — ever. Your location resolves to a canonical city, and a map pin always represents a city community, not an individual.
Founding status from real joining order
The first 100, 1,000 and 10,000 members carry permanent founding status on their profile — real joining order, not an expertise ranking, and no XP, streaks or fake scarcity anywhere.
Browse without signing up
The map, the people directory and public profiles are open and anonymous. An account is needed only to publish your own profile onto the map.
You own what's public
Joining the SAP map is explicitly public — you see exactly what will be shown before you publish, your email is never public, and you can hide or leave at any time without losing your data.
When to reach for it
- You've spent years in SAP and want a structured public profile that says what you actually do — module, role, experience, city — at a stable URL.
- You're wondering how big the SAP community is in your city, or where in the world a given SAP specialty concentrates.
- You want to be an early, founding part of the map of the SAP world rather than joining after it's drawn.
Who it's not for
- Job hunting today — there are no job posts and no recruiter search yet; it's the community map and the identity layer those would be built on.
- People who haven't worked with SAP professionally — an SAP start year is required, so students and career-switchers-to-be aren't on the map in this version.
- Anyone expecting exact locations — location is city-level by design, so you'll never see (or be shown at) an address.
Frequently asked questions
What is Workomap?
Workomap is a map-first community for SAP professionals. Members join with a structured profile — canonical role, primary SAP areas, SAP start year and city — and appear as part of their city's cohort on a live world map. Browsing is open to everyone; joining is free.
Is Workomap free?
Yes — joining and being on the map is free for professionals, and browsing the map, the people directory and public profiles requires no account at all.
What does joining the SAP map make public?
Your name, city or town, primary role, primary SAP areas and experience may be shown publicly — and you see exactly what will be visible before you publish. Your email is never public, and location is city-level only: no addresses, no GPS, no personal coordinates. You can hide your profile or leave the map at any time.
What is a Workomap founding member?
The first 100, 1,000 and 10,000 members of the SAP map carry permanent founding status on their profile, assigned by real joining order. It marks being early, not being ranked — Workomap never turns the sequence into an expertise score.
Do I need SAP experience to join Workomap?
Yes — the SAP map is for people who have worked professionally with SAP, and every profile carries an SAP start year (which may be the current year). Students and aspiring consultants aren't on the map yet.
